She graduated in Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management, at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon (UL). Ph.D. in Statistics and Operational Research from the Faculty of Sciences of the UL. Professor at Mathematics Department of School of Technology and Management, at Polytechnic of Leiria. Member of the Center for Mathematics, Fundamental Applications and Operational Research (CMAFCIO). She has collaborated in several scientific research projects related to forest management optimization and has also promoted lectures on this topic in several schools at other education levels.
